West London: Hammersmith to Heathrow

West London is the easiest part of the city to book in outside zone one, and the reason is dull but decisive: the roster already lives out this way, so the distances are short before you have arranged anything.

Why the west is different

The mansion blocks run west. Bayswater, Earls Court, West Kensington and Fulham hold a large share of the flats that work as incalls, and that is where a large share of the roster is.

The practical consequence is that somebody in Ealing is closer to an escort than somebody the same distance out to the east or south. Our guide on booking outside central London explains why building stock, not demand, decides the map.

The inner west

Hammersmith is the hinge. Four tube lines, five miles from the centre, and close enough to Fulham and Kensington that an outcall here is unremarkable. Shepherds Bush and Acton sit just beyond it.

Brentford and the stretch of river running west from it are quiet in a way that suits an evening. See Chelsea, Fulham and the river for the same idea further in.

Ealing and the Uxbridge Road

Ealing is seven miles out and now nine minutes from Paddington on the Elizabeth line, which is the single biggest change to west London booking in a decade.

Past it, Southall and Hayes are ten and thirteen miles. Both are on the Elizabeth line too, which means the journey in is straightforward even where an outcall out is not.

Heathrow and the airport belt

Hounslow, Feltham and Staines ring the airport, with Slough just beyond.

This corner has its own logic because so much of the demand is people passing through rather than living here. A hotel by the airport, a layover, an early flight. That is a different booking from a residential one and we have a guide for it: escorts near Heathrow.

The honest note is that the airport hotels are twelve to sixteen miles from the roster. It works, it needs notice, and a two hour booking makes far more sense than a one hour one.

South west, over the river

Richmond, Twickenham and Kingston are the prettiest part of this and the most awkward to reach, because they are on the wrong side of the river from the tube network.

Richmond has the District line and is about nine miles out. Twickenham and Kingston run on South Western trains into Waterloo, which is quick into town and slow across to anywhere else.

What works from the west

Hammersmith, Shepherds Bush, Acton, Brentford. Outcall, no complications.

Ealing, Richmond, Hounslow. Outcall with a day’s notice, or a very short journey in.

Southall, Hayes, Feltham, Staines, Slough, Kingston. Coming in is usually the better evening, and from most of these it is under half an hour.

The Elizabeth line changed the arithmetic

Worth stating plainly because a lot of people have not adjusted. From Slough you are at Paddington in twenty two minutes. From Hayes, seventeen. From Ealing, nine.

Paddington and Bayswater immediately around it hold one of the largest concentrations of the roster in London, and the walk from the platform is minutes. Our post on Paddington and Bayswater covers why that corner does more work than its reputation suggests.
