What OWO Means

OWO stands for oral without. What the listing covers, what it does not, how it differs from CIM, and the health question nobody asks out loud.

OWO stands for oral without, meaning oral sex performed without a condom. It is one of the most searched abbreviations in this business and one of the most commonly listed on profiles, so it is worth understanding properly rather than half guessing from context.

The short answer

OWO = oral without. Oral sex given to you without a condom.

The opposite almost never gets its own abbreviation because it is the default. Where a profile says nothing about oral at all, assume protected.

You will also meet the term outside this context. On dating apps and in chat it is used the same way, and it turns up in profile shorthand on sites that have nothing to do with agencies. The meaning does not change.

What it is not

Two confusions worth clearing up, because both cause awkward conversations.

It is not a blanket for unprotected everything. OWO refers to oral only. It says nothing about the rest of the booking, and it never implies penetrative sex without a condom, which is a separate matter and one nearly every escort declines outright.

It is not the same as CIM. OWO is about the condom. CIM is about where it finishes. They are listed separately because they are separate decisions, and plenty who offer one do not offer the other. See the CIM guide.

The listings you will see beside it

  • OWO, oral without. Eighty five of our roster list it.
  • CIM, come in mouth. Forty two list it.
  • COB, come on body. Eighty two list it.
  • CIF, come in face. Forty six list it.
  • Swallow, listed apart from CIM and far less common. Seven list it.
  • Deep throat, a separate listing again.

The pattern is worth noticing. Each one is listed on its own because each is decided on its own, and offering OWO says nothing about the rest.

The health part, plainly

Oral without carries lower risk than unprotected penetrative sex, but not zero, and that is the honest answer people rarely give.

Several infections transmit orally, and those that spread by skin contact rather than fluid are barely affected by whether a condom is used at all. If you have a cut or an ulcer in your mouth, or you have just been to the dentist, the risk is higher than usual.

Whether that risk is acceptable is a decision for you to make with real information, and a sexual health clinic is far better placed to give it than we are. Our guide on sexual health lists where to go.

Asking for it

Check the profile first. If OWO is listed she offers it and there is nothing to negotiate. If it is not listed, she does not, and asking on the night is the request that sours an evening.

There is no surcharge for something already listed. If a rate changes at the door because of it, that is a signal, and how to pay covers what to do about it.

One thing that genuinely helps: brush your teeth and shower before she arrives. It sounds obvious and it is the most commonly skipped part of the whole booking.

She can still say no

A listing is what she is open to, not a commitment. She can decline anything on the night without giving a reason, and that holds for every escort at every agency, ours included.

In practice it rarely comes up, because what is on the profile is what she is happy with. It matters more the other way round: it is the reason the listing is worth anything at all.
