What CIM Means

CIM stands for come in mouth. How it differs from COB, CIF and swallow, why it is not the same question as OWO, and how to ask for it.

CIM stands for come in mouth. It is one of the more frequently listed things on our books and one of the more frequently misread, because people assume it travels with other listings when it does not.

The short answer

CIM = come in mouth. Finishing orally, in her mouth.

That is all it covers. It says nothing about whether a condom is involved, nothing about what happens next, and nothing about the rest of the booking.

The abbreviation also turns up on dating apps and in general chat with the same meaning, so if you arrived here from somewhere other than a profile, the definition is the same.

The three that get confused

CIM sits in a group of listings that describe where a booking finishes, and they are separate lines on a profile because they are separate decisions.

  • CIM, come in mouth. Forty two of our roster list it.
  • COB, come on body. Eighty two list it, which tells you which is the more common answer.
  • CIF, come in face. Forty six list it.

And the one that gets folded into CIM most often and should not be:

Swallow is listed separately, and only seven of our roster list it. CIM does not include it. If a profile says CIM and not swallow, it means exactly that.

CIM and OWO are not the same question

The commonest mix up of the lot.

OWO is about whether a condom is used. CIM is about where it finishes. A profile can list one without the other in either direction, and plenty do. See what OWO covers.

If you want both, check that both are listed. Eighty five of our roster list OWO and forty two list CIM, so the overlap is smaller than the larger number suggests.

The health part

Worth a sentence rather than a lecture. Finishing orally carries a transmission risk for several infections, and it is higher where there is any cut or ulcer in the mouth.

It is a decision for you to make with real information rather than an agency, and our guide on sexual health points at the clinics and charities better placed to give it.

Asking for it

Read the profile. If CIM is listed, it is offered and there is nothing to arrange. If it is not, it is not, and the night is the wrong time to ask.

No surcharge applies to something already listed. Where one does apply it is written on the profile, not produced at the door, and a figure that changes when you arrive is covered in how to pay.

As with anything on a profile, a listing is what she is open to rather than a commitment. She can decline on the night without giving a reason. That rarely comes up, and it is the reason the listing means something in the first place.

See who offers CIM, read the glossary for the rest of the shorthand, or call +44 20 7846 3480.
