What Rimming Means
Rimming explained, why profiles list giving and receiving separately, and the hygiene question everybody wants answered and nobody asks.
Rimming means oral to anal contact, using the tongue and lips. It goes by analingus in clinical writing and by a handful of blunter names everywhere else, and it appears on escort profiles far more often than most people expect. Here is what the listing actually tells you.
The short answer
Rimming = oral stimulation of the anus. That is the whole definition.
The reason it needs a guide is not the act, it is the listing. Rimming is one of the few things written up in two directions on a profile, and reading the wrong one is a common and avoidable mistake.
Giving and receiving are separate listings
This is the part worth getting right before you book.
- Rimming (receiving) means she receives it. Eighty six of our roster list this.
- Rimming (giving) means she gives it to you. Fifteen list this.
The gap between eighty six and fifteen is the whole story, and it is why checking which one a profile says matters. Assuming the listing runs the way you want it to is how people end up asking for something on the night that was never on offer.
Spanking is written up the same way for the same reason, and so is WS.
Hygiene, which is the actual question
Nobody asks this on the phone and everybody wants to know.
A thorough shower beforehand is the expectation, and for most people that is the end of it. Anyone who does this regularly has worked out their own routine and there is no need to set one out here.
Health wise, this carries a real risk of passing on gastrointestinal infections, hepatitis A and parasites, more so than most other oral contact. A dental dam removes most of that and almost nobody uses one. Hepatitis A vaccination is free on the NHS through sexual health clinics and is worth asking about if this is a regular part of your evenings.
Our guide on sexual health covers where to get advice from people qualified to give it.
Where it sits in a booking
Rarely the whole evening. It is usually part of something longer, and it works better once two people have settled into a booking than it does in the first ten minutes.
Because of that, an hour is short for it. Ninety minutes upward gives the evening somewhere to go.
You will often see it listed alongside A-Level, which is anal sex and a different thing entirely. Twenty two of our roster list A-Level. The two are not a package, and offering one says nothing about the other.
Asking for it
Mention it when you call rather than on the night. It changes who we suggest, particularly for rimming given, where fifteen names is a short list and we know which of them are genuinely comfortable with it rather than merely willing.
If saying it out loud is the awkward part, say it badly. Nobody on this end of the phone will react.
There is no surcharge for something already on the profile. Where one applies it is written there, not added later.
What does not change
A listing is what she is open to, not a guarantee. She can decline anything on the night without giving a reason, and can stop at any point. That is not a technicality; it is the basis on which any of this works.
