What Bareback Means

The term, and our answer, which is no. Why the answer does not move, what the risk actually is, and why a listing that offers it is a warning sign.

Bareback is searched for often enough that leaving it unexplained would be its own kind of dishonesty. So here is the meaning, and here is our answer, which is a clear no and worth explaining rather than simply asserting.

The short answer

Bareback means penetrative sex without a condom. You will also see it written BB, or BBFS for bareback full service.

It is not offered by anyone on this site. There is no listing for it, no escort who provides it, and no rate at which that changes. If you are here to find out whether it can be arranged, that is the answer and the rest of this page explains why.

Why the answer is no

Not squeamishness, and not a policy written to look responsible.

An escort seeing several people a week is managing a risk that compounds in a way a single encounter does not. A condom is the one measure that works reliably against most of what is being managed, and removing it for one booking removes it for everybody she sees afterwards. That is the whole reasoning and it is not negotiable at any agency worth ringing.

It is also her decision rather than ours, and every escort we work with has made the same one.

The term you may be confusing it with

OWO, oral without, is oral sex without a condom. Eighty five of our roster list it and it is entirely ordinary.

That is a different thing from bareback, carries substantially lower risk, and is the listing most people are actually looking for when they arrive at this page. If OWO was what you meant, that guide is the one to read.

What the risk actually is

Worth setting out properly rather than gesturing at, because vague warnings persuade nobody.

Unprotected penetrative sex is the highest risk activity for HIV transmission and for most bacterial infections, and receptive anal is higher risk again. Chlamydia and gonorrhoea frequently show no symptoms at all, which means somebody can be entirely honest with you and still be wrong. A recent test is a statement about the past, not the present.

None of that is a lecture. It is the reason the answer does not move.

If you want a real conversation about any of this, a sexual health clinic will have it with you for free and without judgement. Our guide on sexual health and escorts lists the London ones, including walk in services and how PrEP works.

If a listing offers it, that is your warning

This is the genuinely useful part of this page.

An advert offering bareback is one of the most reliable signals that something is wrong. In practice it tends to mean one of three things: the listing is fake and exists to take a deposit, the photos are not the person, or somebody is being controlled by whoever wrote the advert.

That last one is the reason to care. The adverts that offer what nobody else will are disproportionately the adverts where somebody is not choosing freely. Our guide on spotting a fake listing covers the other signals, and if something feels wrong the number for Modern Slavery is 0800 0121 700.

Asking on the night

Do not. It is the single request most likely to end a booking, and it is the one thing that will get somebody taken off our client list.

The reason is not prudishness. Asking in a room, alone, after money has changed hands, is asking someone to reconsider a safety decision under pressure. Most escorts have had it happen and all of them remember who did it.

Offering more money makes it worse rather than better. See how to pay and escort etiquette.

If the condom fails

It happens, it is nobody’s fault, and there is a clear thing to do.

PEP is emergency HIV medication and it works best the sooner it is started, ideally within twenty four hours and no later than seventy two. You get it from a sexual health clinic or an A and E department, free, without an appointment and without an explanation of how you came to need it.

Tell her, rather than saying nothing. She needs to know for the same reasons you do.

What we do offer

Nearly everything else, and the profiles say so plainly. Read the full glossary for what the listings mean, or browse the roster.

If you want to talk any of this through before booking, ring +44 20 7846 3480. It is a normal question and nobody will make it awkward.
